Proudly Made In Kenya by the hands and from the souls and hearts of Esther Sanayian, Jane Nayionte, Emmaculate Simaloi, Jennifer Risianoi, and Ruth Malante of Arriyiak Beaders Kajiado, Kenya.
These bracelets are made by the Arriyiak Beaders, a group of Maasai ladies from Magadi who have come together to do business with the aim of earning a living. These bracelets are made using fishing line and beads of the highest quality. It takes up to 5 hours to make one bracelet, but with the naming it takes up to 6 hours to make since one puts only 2 pieces of beads per time till the whole bracelet is complete.
The cost of this bracelet is high due to two main reasons:
- The type of beads is expensive since we use the highest quality of beads.
- The period of time to hand-craft each bracelet and belt is so long and we have to stop doing any other work to complete each bracelet and belt, and sometimes sacrifice sleep to make sure that we make delightful bracelets and belts products for our clients.
Purchasing either the bracelets or belts supports the social venture of the Arriyiak Beaders of Kajiado, Kenya.
